Augustine O. Okolo, MBA, CPA Principal Augustine O. Okolo, CPA, MBA, has been a principal in the firm since 2001. He joined the then Sambo Okolo & Company in 2001 after working at various positions in the private industry; regional and national CPA firms of Daniel Dennis & Company and Ernst and Young, LLP. Mr. Okolo oversees the firm’s government contracts audits as well as other Commercial, Real Estate and Nonprofit audits. Mr. Okolo received an MBA degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria Graduate School of Business in 1990 after graduating from the University of Benin, Nigeria in 1979 with a BS in Economics. Mr. Okolo’s professional affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, the National Association of Black Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He is also a licensed Massachusetts Notary Public. Mr. Okolo has more than twenty years of experience providing accounting, management and consulting services to clients in areas of nonprofit, real estate, governmental and private sectors. He has performed various audits in accordance with OMB Circular A-133, A128, HUD, MHFA, FAR’s, UFR and Pension Plans requirements.
